What it is intended to do
Offmodel Personal is intended to help one macOS user carry reviewed project state between AI sessions or models. A person prepares a bounded checkpoint, opens another AI session, reviews the handoff, and confirms continuation before work resumes.
Information carried forward
- project identity;
- current objective;
- reviewed decisions or limitations;
- the exact next action.
The exact exposed fields remain interface- and version-dependent.
Current Offmodel Personal availability
Current signed and notarized build
Offmodel keeps verified project state in the local project folder. AI tools perform candidate work; Offmodel keeps the controlled state. It does not automatically upload the project folder to an AI. Text manually pasted into an external AI service leaves the computer and is governed by that service.
In Window Switch, the receiving AI verifies the project, revision, checkpoint, objective and exact next action, then stops. “Verification received” opens the acknowledgement plan. One final human “Confirm Changes” action is required, and project state does not change before that confirmation.
A signed and notarized DMG is available for Apple Silicon Macs (macos-arm64): download Offmodel 1.0.0 build 19. The DMG contains Offmodel.app. Direct download is available. Checkout and licence delivery are not connected yet. Independent clean-Mac acceptance is still pending.
